Dorothy
P. Nixon
GASTONIA, N.C. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 4, at
2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church for Dorothy Dot
Pratt Nixon, 89, who died Sept. 1, 2005 at Stanley Total Living Center.
Dr. Bill Medlin officiated the services. Burial was in the Gaston Memorial
Park.
She was a native of Greenwood, S.C. and she was the daughter of the
late Hal Moseley and Lilla Dean ODell Pratt. She was a homemaker,
a member of the First United Methodist Church for almost 60 years and
was active in her circle. She served on the Heart Ball Committee for
many years and volunteered with several community organizations. She
loved life and enjoyed her family.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, C. E. Nixon; sons and daughters-in-law,
Phill and Terri Nixon of Gastonia and Frank and Ann Nixon of Tarpon
Springs, Fla. and Gastonia; granddaughters, Laura Tucker, Amanda Nixon,
Sara Nixon and Mary Nixon; great granddaughters, Lili Tucker and Avery
Tucker; brother, John Pratt of Lake Wylie, S.C. and sister, Frances
Kiser of High Point, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Daniel Nixon;
her sisters, Mary Powell, Bessie Bea Stowe, Ethel Rhyne, Lilla Setzer
and Hal Causby.
Arrangements were entrusted to McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.

James
T. Clendenin
CROWLEY A memorial service will be held at the Wesley United
Methodist in Crowley, Nov. 5 at p.m., for James Thomas Clendenin, also
known as Red owner and operator of Clendenin Trucking. James
passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2005, just before Hurricane Rita
came in, at the age of 81. Rev. Truman Stagg will officiate the service.
He is survived by his most beloved granddaughter Megan "Teddy Bear"
Dagenhart, who so willingly was there for him and took care of him in
his time of need. It is because of her love and devotion to him, that
she will always be his "Teddy Bear."
He is also survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruth Zander Clendenin;
one daughter, Jamie C. Dagenhart of Crowley; two sons, Kelvin Clendenin
and wife Catherine of Crowley and Lynn D. Solomon and wife Jill, of
Billings, Mont. and one son-in-law, Vernice Villejoin of Crowley. Close
to him were his five nieces, Hazel, Helen, Shirley, Elaine and Mary
Ann all of Denver, Color.
Ten grandchildren, Candace "Punky" and Megan "Teddy Bear
D. Dagenhart, Victoria and Robert Clendenin, all of Crowley; J.D., Michele,
Natalie, and Katrina Solomon, all of Billings, Mont.; Chad Villejoin
and Melinda Seaux of Crowley; three great grandchildren, Patricia Miller,
Shane and Josie LeBlanc, all of Crowley; four great-great grandchildren,
Blake, Blaze, Kelsey and Kendal Miller, all of Crowley.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Lucina Villejoin of Crowley;
his parents Albert and Gerttie Tanner Clendenin and eight sisters and
brothers.
James was a Veteran of World War II with the rank of Corporal and was
a member of Battery "C" 389th FA and Battery "H"
3rd Relp. Regt. He proudly served his country at the Battle of the Bulge,
where he drove an M4 tank and heavy truck pulling weapons and ammunition
over rough terrain. During his stint in the army he traveled to France,
Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia. He was decorated with several medals:
Good Conduct Ribbon; ETO Ribbon with two Bronze Stars; Victory Medal
and American Theater Ribbon.
At age 14, James began trucking coal from the mines of Illinois. While
in the Army his mother, Gerttie, drove his truck hauling coal. Upon
his return after the war, he continued trucking throughout the U.S.
He enjoyed owning his own trucking company which gave him the opportunity
to travel. James has lived in Chicago, Illinois, Denver, Colorado and
Texas. For the past 42 years, he had made his home in Crowley. Now,
on his last trucking journey, he bids goodbye and so long to all of
his family and friends.

M. Pizzica
TAMPA, FLA. Rose M. Pizzica 91, of Tampa died Oct. 25, 2005.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Michele Wilson, Janet
Baumgarner and husband Bob; son, Robert D. Pizzica and wife Patricia;
nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Those who wish, may make
donations to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele, Tampa, 33609, can do
so in Rose's memory.

POINT Jesse Lennon Sr., 76, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005
at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Funeral services were
held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. Duhon
Funeral Home of Church Point was in charge of arrangements.

Smith
MERMENTAU COVE Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct.
26, at 1 p.m. at the Living Word Assembly of God Church for Clouya Smith,
82, who died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005 at the Jennings Guest House.
Rev. Mitchell Gott will officiate for the services. Burial will be in
Istre Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Wednesday from 8 a.m.
until service time.
Survivors include four sons, Leonard Smith and his wife Gale of Gueydan;
Melvyn Smith of Mermentau Cove; Lee Roy Smith and his wife Linda of
Mermentau Cove; Ravis Smith and his wife Susan of Lake Arthur; two daughters,
Elaine Stackhouse and her husband James of Jennings; Roxanna Murray
and her husband Donald of Mermentau Cove; one brother, Rodney Benoit
of Jennings; two sisters, Lula LeJeune and Margie LeJeune, both of Jennings;
eleven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Smith was a native and resident of Mermentau Cove. She loved to garden,
cook and she loved the Lord.
Pallbearers will be Ravis Smith, Buddy Murray, Ryan Smith, Jeffrey Smith,
Randy Smith and Dwayne Bebee.
The honorary pallbearer will be Robert Hemlick.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews and Son Funeral Home of

POINT Thomas Matte, 98, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005 at
Eunice Community Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday,

POINT Elvis Monk Fusilier, 88, died Sunday,
Oct. 23, 2005 in Branch. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday,

Cemetery in Branch under the direction of Guidry Funeral Home of Church
Point.

Jeanne Myers Boudreaux, 86, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at St. Joseph
Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 under
the direction of Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne.

Carrol Trahan, 68, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at American
Legion Hospital in Crowley. Funeral services are pending with Geesey-Ferguson
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

RAYNE Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m.
at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for Vivian Fruge, 78, who died Saturday,
Oct. 22, 2005 at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley.
Deacon Rodless LeLeux will officiate the services. Burial will be in
Acadia Rest Haven Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday from
4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary
will be recited Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Savant and husband Floyd of
Maxie; three grandsons, Jason Pastor and wife Mary of Crowley; Chad
Pastor and wife Julie of Egan and Cody Pastor and wife Stephanie of
Egan.
Fruge was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Curley Fruge;
her parents Alcee and Ourea Harrington Simoneaux; four sisters, Agnes
Louvierre, Mabel Darby, Irene Hargraves and Elaine Chapman; two brothers,
Milton and Melvin Simoneaux.
Fruge was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church. Her hobbies were
cooking for family and friends. She had a great love of music, especially
french.

Louis Mayer
CROWLEY Services were held at Triangle Baptist Church on Monday,
Oct. 17. for Archie Louis Mayer, 81, of Triangle, Va. and formerly of
Crowley, who died Oct. 10, 2005
Interment with military honors followed immediately at Quantico National
Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Mayer; one daughter, Irene
Tibbets of Newport News, Va.; one son, Lee Willis of Oceanside, Calif.;
two sisters, Shirley Guidroz of Houma and Jean Mire of Covington; one
brother, Gerald Mayer of Cincinnati; six grandchildren and 16 great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Claire Dupuis of Crowley and
Betty Skiver of Torrance, Calif.
A WWII veteran and Korean War combat veteran, Mr. Mayer retired from
the U.S. Marine Corps after serving for 23 years. He subsequently worked
for the Virginia Department of Corrections before opening his own sporting
goods store in Triangle.
An accomplished marksman, he held two world records in silhouette shooting.
He was a member of the Marine Corps League, the American Legion, a charter
member of the Virginia Gun Collectors Club and a member of Triangle
Baptist Church.
JENNINGS
Virginia Lee Fontenot, 79, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005
at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Funeral services will be held
at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic
Church. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction
of Matthews and Son Funeral Home of Jennings.

2005 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. Funeral services will be
held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church.

Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hebert; two

18 at Vincent Funeral Home honoring the life of Joseph Boy
LeLeux, 74, who died Oct. 16, 2005 at his daughter's home in Kaplan.
He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Deacon Rodless LeLeux
officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lucy B. LeLeux of LeLeux; two
daughters, Patricia Adams and husband Larry and Sandy Simon and husband
Steve, all of LeLeux; five granddaughters, Deidre Adams, Skye Hair,
Joelle Adams, Valerie Marceaux and husband Kevin and Amanda Lege and
three great grandchildren, Jessica Hair, Destiny Hair and Brenden Marceaux.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joel LeLeux; parents, Landry LeLeux
and the former Ophelia Broussard; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Visiting hours will be observed Monday from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and
Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Zula Hoffpauir, 84, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005 at Southwind
Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15
at the Duon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Ky Hebert Cemetery
in Roberts Cove under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.

IOTA Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17
at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Laura Launey Davidson, 80,
of Lafayette who died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005 in a Lafayette care facility.
Father George Heffner will officiate.
Born and raised in Iota , Mrs. Davidson was the valedictorian of her
senior class of St. Francis School of Iota and attended Our Lady of
Lake College in San Antonio, Texas. She worked as a sales assistant
and buyer in retail womens fashions in the Lake Charles area as
a young woman. Mrs. Davidson and her husband later owned and operated
Daves Grocery in Topsy for over 20 years. She was an exciting
artist and decorator. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading and
cooking, but found her greatest joy in spending time with her children
and grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by three sons, Daryl Khoury and wife Lee of
Lake Charles, John Khoury and wife Susan of Atlanta and Joey Davidson
and wife Dolores of Topsy; one daughter, Kathy Rousso of Lafayette;
one brother, Shelton Launey of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Glaris Launey
Istre of Westlake, Juanita Launey Schnider of Acworth, Ga., Willa Launey
Rawls of Lafayette, Lillie Launey OFiel of Beaumont, Texas and
Patricia Launey Wager of Sun City, Calif.; nine grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Davidson and one
grandson, Stephen Zachary Cornay.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Menard Lawson of Crowley;
one daughter, Deborah Lawson Richard and her husband Gregory of Crowley;
one son, John W. Lawson of Crowley; five grandchildren, Melissa Ann
Lawson of Baton Rouge, Eric Gregory Richard of Crowley, Jamie Lynn Lawson
of Morgan City, Amy Elizabeth Richard of Crowley and Anne Marie Lawson
of Georgia; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Lawson, Hunter Richard,
Jake Richard and Alec Richard; and one brother, Fredrick Lee Lawson

Mr. Lawson is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Thelma Ketchum
Lawson.

Alan Lawson, Nicholas Lawson and Fredrick Lawson.
The honorary pallbearers will be Hunter, Jake and Alec Richard.
He was a member of the United States Army and served during the Korean
Conflict. Mr. Lawson was a farmer for forty years. He was also a member
of the First Baptist Church in Crowley.

97, who died peacefully Oct. 11, 2005 at Southwind Nursing Home.

Mrs. Daigle is preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Daigle;
one daughter, Nelwin Daigle; her parents, William and Alice Reed LeJeune
and nine brothers and sisters.
The pallbearers will be Mark Foreman, Keith Foreman, Johnny Foreman,
Greg Rasberry, Blake Foreman and Kevin Power.
The honorary pallbearers are Tyler Foreman, Brandon Power, Madison Power,
Sydney Foreman, J.P. Foreman and Avery Foreman.
She lived a long and giving life and will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband Elzie Lee Smith; her
parents, Joe and Mary Ferguson Mitchell; three sisters, Eunice Berry,
Eula OQuinn, Lois Laun and one brother, Ernest Mitchell.
Pallbearers are her nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith took pride in nurturing her family and a countless number
of friends who visited in her home daily. May the memories of good times
fill the void in the hearts of her family and friends.

"Betty" Guidry, 79, who died Oct. 11, 2005 at her home in
Rayne.

Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday

Survivors include her husband, Warren L. Guidry of Rayne; one daughter,
Debra G. Bernard and husband David of Conyers,Ga; one son, David W.
Guidry and wife Pattie of Rayne; seven grandchildren, Ryan and wife

She was a master judge in the Louisiana Garden Club Federation and was
devoted to the beauty of flower arranging and gardening. The love she
had for flowers flowed through in her love for her many friends. She
was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. At one time
she served as the state librarian of the Dames of the Court of Honor.
She was an 8th generation descendant of Capt. John Ford from which she
drew her lineage. The John Ford Historical Museum is the sight of the
John Ford Home, better known as the Ford Stockdale, located in Sandy
Hook, Miss. The home is reminiscent of the 18th century forts built
in the Mississippi Territory in the late 1700s. The home was added to
the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The home remains very
much as it was originally with many of the original furnishings. One
of the most memorable guests was Gen. Andrew Jackson whose army camped
at the stockade while marching to the defense of the city of New Orleans
during the War of 1812.
She was the corporate secretary of the family businesses and in 1975
worked with her husband to found the Interco Companies, a company that
grew from distribution in all 50 states and on into the international
markets. The success of the business cannot be mentioned without credit
to the wonderfully dedicated and loyal co-workers who contributed so
much to the success of the business...our heartfelt thanks to you all.
Further thanks to her caregivers during the last two months; Mary, Sue,
Paula, Sonya, Sherlene, Marie and the nurses of Hospice of Acadiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence J. Walther and Maude
Ford Walther and one niece, Priscilla Dickson.

the First United Methodist Church of Gueydan for F. T. Smith Jr., 84,
who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005 at his residence.
Rev. Kemper Smith will conduct the service. Interment will be in Gueydan
Cemetery with full military rites. Visiting hours will be observed Wednesday
from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Smith was a native and resident of Gueydan. He served in the Air
Force in WW II. He was a carpenter, a retired farmer and he also worked
at the Klondike Pump and made the parts when it broke down. He designed
a wood xylophone for U.S.L.
F. T. will always be remembered as a loving husband and a wonderful
father. He and his wife celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in
May 2005. Their children as well as their spouses, grandchildren and
great grandchildren will fondly remember their dad, grandfather and
great grandfather, as the man who they thought could do anything.

Cain Jr.
CROWLEY Moses Cain Jr., 78, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 in Austin,
Texas. He was a native of Crowley, where he resided most of his life.
Moses was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, served in World
War II and had a tour in Germany.
He was employed at Pelican Bag Company, now Langston Company, for 30
years. He then joined his brother and worked as a butcher at Cain's
Meat Market in Crowley.
He was a member of First Church of God in Christ where he served as
a Sunday School teacher, president of the usher board and district president.
He was also a long time deacon and member of the board of trustees.
Moses moved to Lake Charles in 2000 and became a member of Freeman Memorial
Church of God in Christ. He later joined Philadelphia Church of God
in Christ where he served as a deacon, Sunday School superintendent,
chairman of finance and Lake Charles district usher.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Judith Cain
of Lake Charles; two sons, Anthony Cain of Crowley and Williams Samuel
of Lake Charles; five daughters, Helen Cain Sinclair and husband Joseph,
Myrtle R. Cain and Florena Cain DeJean, all of Crowley, Knijah Samuel
of Lake Charles and Elizabeth Pradia and husband Matthew of Austin;
one daughter "in heart", Merida Smart of Austin; three sisters,
Viola Wright and husband Joseph, Rosa Mae Williams of Houston and Beatrice

lady at Crowley High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Esther M. Arabie and her husband Winston
Sonny Arabie of Ridge; one son, Russell Mire and his wife
Shirleen of Lafayette; one sister, Lucille Cormier of Morse; two brothers,
Ellis Thibodeaux and Vernice Thibodeaux, both of Crowley; nine grandchildren
and 19 great grandchildren and a special caregiver, Ethel Burke Hargrave.
Pallbearers will be Danny, Patrick, Roger, Phillip, Arnold and Gerald
Arabie and Ryan, Kevin and Andy Mire.
Mrs. Mire is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Mire; her parents,
Alphie and Mamie Pepper Thibodeaux; two brothers, Joseph Lancon and
Roy Thibodeaux; and one sister, Yvonne Trahan.

CROWLEY Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
at Geesey - Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Marilyn Bufkin
Shingleton, 75, who died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005 in Lafayette.
Rev. Chris Campo, pastor of Parkerson Avenue Baptist Church, will conduct
the funeral services. The committal services will be held at the Woodlawn
Cemetery.
She was a member of Parkerson Avenue Baptist Church, the Crowley Art
Association and was instrumental in opening The Gallery in Crowley.
She is survived by two sons, Wil Shingleton and his wife Paulette of
Baton Rouge and Tommy Shingleton and his wife Janet of Crowley; a brother,
Rayburn A. Bufkin of Pleasant Hill; a sister, Mary Jane Bufkin of Shreveport
and four grandchildren, Karlie, Kallie, Robert and Blake Shingleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper William Shingleton
Jr. and her parents, Rayburn P. Bufkin and Mary Armstrong Bufkin.
Visitation may be observed Monday from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Tuesday
from 8 a.m. until time of services.

POINT Wilbur J. Carriere, 65, died Thursday, Sept. 29,
2005 at his residence in Lawtell. Funeral services will be held at 1
p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will
be in the St. Edwards Church Cemetery in Richard under the direction
of Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point.
JENNINGS
Beatrice Tally, 67, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005 at
Lady of Lourdes Hospital of Lafayette. Funeral services were held at
11 a.m. Oct. 1 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will
be in the Raymond Cemetery under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral
Home of Jennings.
CROWLEY
Justine Hebert, 91, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005 at Oak
Nursing Home in Monroe. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday,
Oct. 3 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will be in the South Crowley
Cemetery under the direction of Owens-Thomas Funeral Home.
Nedia
L. Sonnier
RAYNE Funeral services was held Saturday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Nedia LeBlanc Sonnier,
75, who died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005 at the Franklin Medical Center
in Winnsboro.
Fr. Avelino Vale officiated for the services. Burial was in Woodlawn
Cemetery. Visiting hours were observed Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
and Saturday, 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary was recited Friday
at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard L. Sonnier of Morse; her mother,
Ledia D. LeBlanc of Iowa; two sons, Bernard E. Sonnier of Midland and
John P. Sonnier of Pineville; two daughters, Helena R. Hanks of Lyons
Point and Theresa L. Sonnier of Morse; one sister, Gloria L. Richard
of Iowa; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene LeBlanc and two brothers,
Donald and Forest LeBlanc.
Arrangements were entrusted to Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
Lackey
Stewart
ZACHARY Lackey Stewart was born Sept. 16, 1915 and died Sept.
30, 2005 at his home at the age of 90. He was a native of Crowley, where
he retired from the city with 26 years of service.
For the last 12 years, he has resided in Ethel, next door to his niece,
who took care of him during his battle with liver cancer. He was the
last surviving member of his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Mansel Stewart, his mother,
Natalie Gautreaux Stewart and 11 brothers and sisters. He was also preceded
in death by his wife, Eunice Breaux Stewart. He never had any children
of his own but was known to all as "Paw."
He is survived by his niece, Sandra Johnson, who thought of him as a
father. He is also survived by her daughters, Dawn Belue, Tina Miller
and Sarah Johnson and they called him "Paw Paw." Hunter Belue
and Morgan Miller knew him as "Great Paw Paw."
Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary, Sunday from 3
p.m. to 9 p.m. and continuing Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. followed
by a service conducted by Rev. B. G. Buchanan.
There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m. and burial to follow at
Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley conducted by Jeff Strassell.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Belue, Hunter Belue, Jerry Miller, Ardes Johnson,
Bradley Bergeron, Raymond Longee, Ray Hall and Jeff Strassell.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Charlet Funeral Home, Inc.
of Zachary.

Roy Trahan Sr.
CROWLEY Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1
at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Melvin "Roy"
Trahan Sr., 63, who died Sept. 29, 2005 at Allen Parish Hospital in
Kinder.
Fr. Gary Schexnayder officiated the services. Visitation was observed
Friday from 3 p.m. to the time of service on Saturday. Interment was
in Abshire Cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Melvin Roy Trahan Jr. of Estherwood; two
daughters, Fayetta Lynn Trahan of Florida and Anita Jean Trahan of Duson;
one sister, Cynthia Deshotel of Kinder; two step-children, Madeline
LaGrange and Susana Thibodeaux; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by his parents, Molear and Anita Abshire
Trahan; brother, Vernice John Trahan and two sisters, Sedia Broussard
and Lydia Perry.
