Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Ardie Lantier, 79, who passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 8:40 p.m. at the Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Brother Gerard Morgan, associate pastor of Northside Assembly of God Church, will be officiating for the services. A Rosary will be recited Monday at 6:30 in the evening in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph #2 Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, June 23, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. then they will resume on Tuesday at 8 a.m. until the time of services.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda and husband Curtis Foreman of Crowley, Christine and husband Albert Cormier of Egan and Barbara Young of Crowley; two sons, Preston Lantier of Crowley and Clinton and wife Jane Lantier of Carencro; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
Ms. Ardie was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Lantier; one daughter, Linda Foreman; and her parents, Remi Savoy and Pearl Galley.
Pallbearers for the services will be Ashley Deshotel, Tina Costello, Kevin Lantier, Cody Lantier, Roger Lopez and Steven Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be D.J. Young Jr. and Caleb Costello.
