Carl Jude “Buddy” LeBlanc

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and brother, Carl Jude “Buddy” LeBlanc, 73.

Carl lost his battle with cancer on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014. He was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Crowley to the late Herbert Willie LeBlanc and Stella Broussard LeBlanc. He graduated from St. Michael High School and then enlisted in the Air Force, serving his country for several years. After attending a semester at the University of Louisiana, he began his life-long career  in the oil and petrochemical industry in Houston, Texas, as a draftsman.

Carl was a very dedicated and loving father and husband who continually put the well being of others before his own. He was kind, patient, honest and quick-witted. He was also a talented artist who loved to cook and maintain a beautiful yard and was a great pool player.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherry Boullion LeBlanc of Spring; his daughter, Jennifer Badinghaus and husband Jim of Conroe, Texas; and two sons, David and Brian LeBlanc, both of Spring; his sister, Judy LeBlanc Dunphy and husband Terry of Carrolton, Texas; and brother, Michael LeBlanc and wife Carol of Crowley; as well as his granddaughter, Danielle Robey of Conroe; and many nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives.

In accordance with his wishes, a funeral will not be held.
