Edward James Lejeune
Edward James Lejeune passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the age of 75.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Father Joe Tran will officiate.
Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Edward is survived by one daughter, Melissa Domingue and Keith of Crowley; three brothers, Charles Lejeune and wife Bobbie of Mowata, Johnny Lejeune and wife Barbara of Eunice and Donald Lejeune and wife Peggy of Ville Platte; one sister, Lorita Johnson of Eunice; eight grandchildren, Hunter Domingue of Crowley, Brice Suire of Crowley, Ices Lejeune of Crowley, Seth Lejeune of Crowley, Kennon Lejeune of Franklin, Layton Lejeune of Franklin, Leslie Domingue of Crowley, and Jarran Fredrick of Franklin; and two great-grandchildren, Kayson Domingue of Crowley and Kayden Domingue of Crowley.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Lejeune and Mable Thibodeaux Lejeune; two sons, Danny Lejeune and Ryan Lejeune; and one brother, Houston Lejeune.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
