Michael J. “Paco” Thibodeaux
Rayne- Funeral Services for Michael J. “Paco” Thibodeaux, 59, will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10:00AM in the Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne Chapel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM and will resume on Friday morning at 8:00AM until just prior to service time. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou. Mr. Thibodeaux passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at his residence in Rayne.
A longtime resident of Rayne, Mr. Thibodeaux was an auto mechanic by trade and was also known to be a very kind hearted, loving and caring father and friend who had a “natural spark” which would naturally brighten the day of those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved.
He is survived by three daughters, Doye Thibodeaux of Indian Bayou, Meagan Thibodeaux of Crowley and Tara Thibodeaux Coons of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sons, Shane Thibodeaux of Indian Bayou and Mark Bergeron of Rayne; his parents, Merton and Marlene B. Thibodeaux of Rayne; three sisters, Janice Doucet, Doye LeBlanc and Brenda Thibodeaux LeBlanc all of Rayne; three brothers, Glen Anthony Thibodeaux, Benny Joseph Thibodeaux and his wife, Shonna and Markus Thibodeaux all of Rayne and ten grandchildren, Alysia Colleen Thibodeaux, Braxton Duhon, Shayla Bergeron, Spencer Bergeron, Makenzie Thibodeaux, Kaydence Thibodeaux, Austin Thibodeaux, Ryleigh Thibodeaux, Kellen Coons and Linden Coons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Lejeune Thibodeaux; paternal grandparents, Ambrose “Uncle Ambrose” and Amy Trahan Thibodeaux and his maternal grandparents, Eneas and Ella Mae McGee Lemaire.
Pallbearers will be Shane Thibodeaux, Glen Thibodeaux, Markus Thibodeaux, Glen LeBlanc, Donald Doucet, John McBride and Landon Doucet.
