O.L. Fuselier announces his candidacy for Pine Prairie alderman
O.L. Fuselier has announced his candidacy for councilman in the Village of Pine Prairie in the upcoming fall election. His announcement follows:
“I, O.L. Fuselier, am seeking a seat on the village council in Pine Prairie in the upcoming fall election. I have served on the village council previously and feel I am qualified for this position. I have been a resident of the village all of my life. I married the former Elvie King and we have two children: Amanda Fuselier and Olen Fuselier, and two grandchildren: Josie and Bryant Fuselier. My family was raised and educated in our public school system here in Pine Prairie.
“I am retired and I have time to devote to the betterment of our village.
“I want to serve on the council for one main purpose: to serve the people of this town. I look forward to working with the administration to get things accomplished like the operation of our newly re-located sewer plant and the building of our village community center. I feel like I have worked to accomplish many things in my previous term such as upgrading our streets, building a new village hall, upgraded drainage, and the purchase of a new backhoe. I have never been recognized by any of my superiors for the hard work and dedication I had in my previous term. However, I will continue to work hard and make this village one that we can be proud of.
“I hope you will support me in this election and vote for me in the fall so I can continue to work for you. Thank you and May God bless you all,” Fuselier concluded.
