Pastor, Bergeron set summer wedding date
CROWLEY - Mr. and Mrs. Michael James Pastor of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Amy Catherine Pastor, to Mr. Brad Joseph Bergeron, son of Mrs. Alvin Anthony Bergeron of Pineville and the late Mr. Alvin Anthony Bergeron.
The couple will be united in the Sacrement of Holy Matrimony Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley.
Miss Pastor, whose mother is the former Mary Alice Habetz of Rayne, is an honor graduate of Crowley High School and the University of Louisiana where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She obtained her master’s degree in arts education from Louisiana College. Amy is currently employed by Acadia Parish School Board as a high school computer business teacher.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Andrew Habetz Sr. formerly of Rayne and Mrs. Helen Sonnier Pastor of Crowley and the late Mr. Lora James Po-Boy Pastor.
Mr. Bergeron, whose mother is the former Dorothy Marie Landry of New Orleans, is an honor graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education. Brad is currently employed by Lafayette Parish School Board as a high school math teacher and coach.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Landry formerly of New Orleans and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oras Bergeron formerly of Leonville.
After the wedding the couple plans to reside in Scott.
