Pat Ray Angelle
Rayne—A Mass of Christian Burial for Pat Ray Angelle, 74, of Moss Bluff will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Father Kendall Faulk will serve as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Lafayette, LA.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne, and will continue all night until service time on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Mr. Angelle passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 in a Lake Charles hospital.
A native and longtime resident of Church Point, Mr. Angelle was living in Moss Bluff at the time of his passing. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake.
Mr. Angelle was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and he retired as an operator from Olin Chemical Company in Westlake. He was an animal lover, and he enjoyed doing yard work. Being legally blind, Mr. Angelle often depended upon the kindness of others to get around, and was especially grateful to anyone who brought him some boudin. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and he enjoyed the company of his friends and family.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Joy Angelle Pareja and husband, Jorge of Lakeland, FL; sons, Carl Anthony Angelle of Edgewater, NJ, John Dwayne Angelle of Moss Bluff, and Randall James Angelle and wife, Gloria of Lake Charles; sister, Mildred “Millie” Arsement of Duson; grandchildren, Noemi Elizabeth Pareja of Orlando, FL, Laura Rebecca Pareja of Lakeland, FL, and Dalton James Angelle of Lake Charles; and a host of special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends. Mr. Angelle is also survived by his loving animal companion, Penny.
Proceeding Mr. Angelle in death were his wife and mother of his children, Rose Lavergne Angelle; second wife, Gertie Odom Angelle; parents, Armas and Eula Bellard Angelle; and nephew, Mike Arsement.
Serving as pallbearers are Shawn Miller, Dustin Arsement, Derwood Arsement, I, John D. Angelle, Randall J. Angelle, and Mark Arsement. Named as honorary pallbearers are Carl Angelle, Dalton Angelle, Jorge Pareja, Noemi Pareja, Laura Pareja, and George Arsement.
