Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at a 10 a.m. service in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Patrick LeBlanc, age 64, who passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009
at 1:30 a.m. at his residence in Mire.
Interment was in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Deacon Gary Gaudin officiated at the services.
Mr. LeBlanc was a native and lifelong resident of Mire.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, the former Patsy Burleigh; three daughters, Pam Johnson and her husband, Rickie, of Opelousas, Janice Bearb and her husband, Donald, of Carencro, and Tammy Marino of Lafayette; one sister, Theresa Rose Forestier and her husband, Alfred, of Mire; seven grandchildren, Chasidy Gautreaux, Alexis Johnson, Jordon Harper, Karllie Bearb, Chase Marino, Nichole LeBlanc, and Brook LeBlanc; and two great grandchildren, Anthony LeBlanc, and Landon LeBlanc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Judice LeBlanc and the former Edola Meche; one son, Clinton Patrick LeBlanc; one brother, Willie Lee LeBlanc; two sisters, Louella Viator, and Lillie Mae Credeur.
A rosary was prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
The family requested visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday and continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Pallbearers were Billy Viator, Donald Bearb, Rickie Johnson, Danny Forestier, Timothy Forestier, and Keith Moore.
