The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of March 25 through April 9.

• Robert Waller, 20, 192 East First St., Delhi; simple burglary, criminal damage to property and shoplifting.

• Tevin Freeman, 18, 309 Jones St., Rayville; simple burglary.

• Calvin Dean, 21, 802 Spruce St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (loud music) and no driver’s license.

• Antonio Washington, 22, 19 Baker Lane, Rayville; trespassing and attempted second degree murder.

• Darren Washington, 24, 19 Baker Lane, Rayville; trespassing and attempted second degree murder.

• Jarrell Wilkins, 19, 413 Dacron St., Rayville; careless operation and disturbing the peace.

• Kimberly Thomas, 26, 200 Hayes St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (loud music).

• Candace Colbert, 39, 108 Hales Road, Rayville; theft less than $300.

• Michael Liles, 21, 20 Norman Road, Rayville; open container and disturbing the peace.

• Misty Crawford, 21, 570 Summers Road, Rayville; disturbing the peace (general).

• Timothy Jones, 18, 111 Leo St., Rayville; disobeying a police officer.

• Latrail Seals, 20, 1905 Highway 132, Delhi; no driver’s license and obstruction of traffic.

• Domelius Wilson, 20, 128 Pearl St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (loud music).

• Michelle Johnson, 34, 115 Martenz Road, Monroe; no driver’s license.

• Kevin Williams, 24, 316 Russell St., Apt. #59, Rayville; no driver’s license and improper turn with an accident.

• Michael Kendricks, 34, 202 Leo St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (fighting) and trespassing.

• Dawanna Payton, 33, 316 Russell St., Rayville; disturbing the peace.

• Quanellius Reynolds, 18, 117 Donna St., Rayville; disturbing the peace.

• Earnest Miller, 28, 101 Meadowlark St., Rayville; no driver’s license.

• Kelly Wall, 45, 660 Charlie Stephens Road, Gilbert; careless operation with an accident and driving under suspension.

• Phillip Riddick, 18, 111 Fragala St., Rayville; theft less than $100.

• Five junveniles were arrested. Two were charged with aggravated battery and three with theft.

A total of 18 traffic citations were issued by the Rayville Police Department this week. That number includes 13 for speeding, three for careless operation and one each for no insurance and failure to obey a traffic control.

Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson is asking everyone to please consider the youth as they enjoy spring break next week.

Chief Robinson is asking all to always report any suspicious activiting in their area to his department.

“By doing so, this will allow us to check it out before somethig before it happens.”

The chief also wishes everyone a happy Easter.
