Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson again welcomes the annual Tim McGraw Swampstock to Rayville.
The police department and the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement agencies will be doing their best to provide the service, safety and protection needed for everyone to enjoy themselves to the fullest.
“It is our hope that this event will be one of the best and that it will be free of any unpleasant incidents,” he said. “As usual, this will be a huge attraction, therefore we are soliciting the aid and cooperation of the citizens of Rayville and the surrounding areas as well as our visitors to cooperate with the officers who have been assigned to see that everything goes well.”
The chief is again reminding every citizen in every neighborhood to be alert and report all unusual or suspicious activities to the Rayville Police Department.
“There is a dire need for the community and law enforcers to work together in order to blot out crime in our town,” he said. “Visibility is a major key to crime prevention. We need the watchful eyes and participation of all concerned in order to catch the criminal and have him to do the time for doing the crime. Let’s all remember, where there is unity, there is strength.”
