Prairieville man and Bridge City man arrested for child pornography by AG’s Office

BATON ROUGE —Andrew Curtis, 47, of 38445 Sweet Magnolia Drive, Prairieville, was arrested on 20 counts of pornography involving juveniles Tuesday as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, Louisiana State Police, and Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office. Curtis was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on the charges. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.

In an unrelated incident, Troy Anthony Rodriguez, 37, of 1113 Barnes Street, Bridge City, was arrested Tuesday as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations. Rodriguez was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a single count of pornography involving juveniles.
