Rayne Boosters' bingo invitation
Rayne Booster Club would like to invite everyone to come out and play bingo while supporting Rayne athletics. Bingo has been a steady source of funds for the organization since March of 2008.
With funds raised during the bingo games, the group recently donated $12,000 to Rayne High Athletics. This will allow each sport at Rayne High School to receive $1,000 for the 2009-10 school year. This was partially made possible through profits earned at bingo throughout the past year.
Rayne Booster Club is one of five non-profit organizations currently participating in the bingo hall located in Scott. The four other organizations include Bayou Rouge Little League, Church Point Quarter Back Club, Regional Nutrition Assistance, and Comeaux High School Backer Club.
The Rayne Boosters’ bingo sessions are held at Bingeaux & Casino, located at 400 Westgate Road, Scott, which is open six days a week, Monday-Saturday, where everyone can enjoy live bingo or casino-style video bingo machines.
At Bingeaux, you can enjoy video bingo Monday thru Wednesday from 11a.m. to 11p.m. and Thursday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 1a.m. Profits from video bingo machines are evenly distributed between all five organizations.
Live bingo sessions can be enjoyed Monday thru Saturday at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday thru Saturday everyone can also enjoy a bingo session at 10:30 p.m., in addition to the 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. sessions. The cost per book is only $5 to play 10 games. Bingo daubers are sold for only $1 each.
The Rayne Booster Club is allowed to host 15 bingo sessions each month. To find out which sessions will be hosted by Rayne Boosters, you may call Bingeaux at (337) 269-5873, Becky LaFleur at (337) 501-9014 or check upcoming events in this newspaper weekly.
