Rayne woman arrested for distribution of hydrocdone

On Monday, January 10, the Rayne Police Department executed a search warrant at 1213 Barbara Street, Rayne, for controlled dangerous substances.  The residence is the home of Anjeanette Senegal Evans.

A search of the residence located drugs that Anjeanette is accused of selling.  In addition to the drugs, a large amount of stolen property and money were found in her possession.

Anjeanette was arrested for Distribution of a Schedule II CDS.

Chief Stelly stated “Anjeanette is a major supplier in our community. She is getting most of her drugs through Texas physicians.  We are diligently working to stop the flow of prescription medication that is being diverted into our community by drug dealers. We expect to make additional arrest on this case in the very near future.”
