Renola Ann Menard Vincent
Rayne—A Mass of Christian Burial for Renola Ann Menard Vincent, 52, of Egan will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rayne. Father Bill Ruskowski will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2, Rayne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 6:30 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
Mrs. Vincent passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 8:15 P.M. in her Egan residence.
A native and longtime resident of Rayne, Mrs. Vincent had lived in Egan for just over two years. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She was a faithful wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, and her greatest joy in life was being with and caring for her family.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 25 years, Carl Vincent of Egan; daughters, Viola Istre and husband, Ronald, Sr. of Egan, and Sharnell Vincent and husband, Adam Marceaux of Abbeville; brothers, Keno Menard and fiancé, Laura of Fort Myers, FL, Elridge Menard of Kaplan, and Maurice Menard and wife, Peggy of Rayne; grandchildren, Hunter Istre, Ronald Istre, Jr., Chevy Vincent, Anthony Granger, II, Aaron Istre, Dylan Granger, Daylan Granger, Trever Istre, and Amihya Marceaux; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mrs. Vincent in death were her parents, Marion and Viola Dupuis Menard; sisters, Gail Menard and Amanda Meaux; and brothers, Wilfred Menard, Aaron Menard, and John Menard.
