Rice, soybean producers to meet

The annual Rice and Soybean Producers meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the Acadia Extension Office at 157 Cherokee Drive, in Crowley.  All interested persons are invited to attend.

 Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the morning session starting at 8:00 a.m. Note: Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon.

 Those who attend the entire meeting and pay a $25 license fee to the Department of Agriculture can renew their private pesticide applicator license.  Private pesticide applicator licenses are valid for three years.
