Robbery, assault suspects arrested by Crowley police; one still at large

Crowley Police have arrested two suspects and are seeking a third man regarding a December 26, 2011 Armed Robbery which occurred on the parking lot of Chevron located at 530 North Eastern Avenue. The incident occurred shortly after 3:00 pm.

According to the victim, three male subjects approached the victim demanding money as he was pumping gas. During the incident, the victim was struck with a baseball bat and robbed of his money.

“Officers with the department were able to locate and identify two of the suspects involved in the robbery. The third suspect remains at large” stated Chief K.P. Gibson.

Arrested for Armed Robbery were:

Quinten Deshotel, 28 of Crowley and Nicholas Abshire, 30 of Kaplan. Both suspects have been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail. The investigation remains open.

“We encourage anyone with information regarding the third suspect to call Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS (8477) or Crowley Police at 783-1234” Stated Chief Gibson.
