Rothermel, Reiners to exchange vows Oct. 12
RAYNE - Lauren Taylor Rothermel of Crowley and Bradley Paul Reiners of Mowata have announced their engagement and intention to be wed on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 12. Fr. Gary Schexnayder will officiate the 7 p.m. nuptials at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Sheila and Dr. Kurt Rothermel of Crowley. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Duplechin of Lake Charles. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Rothermel of Lake Charles and the late Rhea Rothermel.
Lauren is a 2008 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a 2011 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science.
The prospective groom is the son of Mrs. Nanette and Mr. John Reiners of Mowata. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hebert of Lafayette, and Mrs. Harriette “Honey” Reiners of Mowata and the late Joseph Reiners.
Bradley graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2007 before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in horticulture in 2012.
Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Crowley.
