Ruby Dubus Bossley
CROWLEY - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Ruby Dubus Bossley, 91, who died Friday, March 26, 2010.
Fr. Jim Brady, associate Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday by Sister Justina Baker. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
She is survived by one son, Vincent J. Landry, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Crowley; three grandchildren, Nicholas Rasmussen and his wife Lauren of Atlanta, GA, Rose Marie Rasmussen of Crowley, Alex Rasmussen of Lake Charles; one nephew, Mark B. Landry and his wife Karen of Lafayette; two great-nieces, Meghan Landry of Lafayette and Sarah Landry of New Orleans.
Mrs. Bossley, a Crowley native was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Nocturnal Adoration Society, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a former member of the Crowley Garden Club and 3-10 Club. She was a devoted volunteer and avid supporter of Crowley Christian Care. She enjoyed gardening and extensive traveling with her husband “Dick”.
Mrs. Bossley was preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Ella Patin Dubus; her husband, Richard “Dick” Bossley; her first husband, Vincent J. Landry, Sr.; two sisters, Hazel D. Lyons and Thelma D. “Skinny” Landry.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Rasmussen, Alex Rasmussen, Bill John, Joe John, Johnny John, Chris John, and Michael Hundley.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Michael Catholic School or Crowley Christian Care.
