Ruby Faulk Huesers
CROWLEY - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Ruby Faulk Huesers, 88, who died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 8:14 a.m. at American Legion Hospital.
Fr. Jared Suire, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. At the family’s request visiting hours were observed on Saturday from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will resume Sunday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Mrs. Ruby was born September 6, 1923 in Crowley. She was a lifelong member of Saint Michaels Catholic Church and a CCD teacher. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Crowley American Legion Hospital for 25 years until her retirement. She loved working in her garden and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra H. Potier and her husband John Ed of Memphis, Tn., Patty H. Turner of Crowley, Mary H. Stolzle and her husband David of Memphis, Tn.; two sons, Tommy W. Huesers and his wife Odile of Scott, Joe Huesers and his wife Joan of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Huesers is preceded in death by her husband Michael Joseph Huesers; parents Dewey and Evela Leleux Faulk; one sister, Agnes Faulk Breaux; a son in law, Ken Turner, and her grandson Tyson Huesers.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Huesers, Jr., Jacob Stolzle, Nick Stolzle, David Stolzle, John Leleux and Tommy Faulk.
