Sarah Hanks honored with ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ party
Sarah Hanks, daughter of Donald and Pat Hanks of Crowley, was honored with a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” style
glamour birthday party held at the Town Club on Saturday, March 28, 2009.
In attendance were Caitlyn Clayton, Desi Dietz, Tori Clement, Ravyn Trahan, Amanda Hanks, sister of the honoree; Mary Richard, grandmother of the honoree; Pat Hanks, mother of the honoree; Jo Ann Hanks, Kellie Moreau and Ron and Radona Leonberger.
The room was decorated in a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” movie theme in alluring colors of Tiffany blue, silver, black and white.
Placed center on each of the tables were shopping bags and boxes decorated to look as though they came straight from the Tiffany Company in New York City, New York.
Photographs of Audrey Hepburn were placed around the room for everyone’s viewing, serving as one of the highlights of the night.
The mannequin, AKA Audrey Hepburn portraying Holly Golightly from the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” was provided by Sally Habetz of The Classy Closet.
Guests relished in a fun and fabulous evening of dress up and pampering.
They each was treated to an elegant makeover which included getting their hair and make up done by Kellie Moreau of Art and Soul Hair Salon in Rayne, which followed with their very own glamorous photo shoot.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious catered meal served by the Town Club staff and an ice cream sandwich shaped cake made by Jo Ann Hanks of Crowley.
Serving as Sarah’s special guest was Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly (mannequin).
