Savoy Care Center News: The Lenten season begins

The month of March is a time for renewal and reflecting on life and celebrating new things. March is the beginning of spring, which usually means spring cleaning. Now that all of the fun of Mardi Gras is over, it is time for the Lenton season, a time for reflecting on our lives and spring cleaning our souls. What better way to prepare for Easter than going to the annual french retreat at the Family Life Center next week? The Catholic Daughters are very kind and devoted to assisting all in their spiritual needs by sponsoring this event every year and inviting the public to attend.
Monthly activities at the facility include Catholic mass, the rosary, bible study, prayer meeting, St. Patrick's Day celebration, bingo, ice cream party, resident birthday party, pokeno, pool, Wii games. shopping, in-room visits and the Region III Pageant.
The staff of Savoy Care Center would like to welcome new friend Mercedene Landreneau to the facility.
