Services set for Kaplan banker
KAPLAN -- Services are Monday for Paul F. Meaux, president of Kaplan State Bank. He died Feb. 20 at age 56.
Meaux, a graduate of Kaplan High joined the bank as a bookkeeper in 1971. He was elected a director in 1998 and president in 2006.
He was current chairman of the Kaplan Housing Authority and a member of the Zoning Commission.
He was active in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, having held a number of lay positions.
Survivors include his wife Gloria and two sons.
