Shots fired at Abbeville home

Around 10 bullet shots were fired at a mobile home at the corner of Graceland and Soloman Street in Abbville, but only three hit the home and no one in the home was struck by a bullet, according to the Abbevile Police Department.

Abbeville Police Chief Rick Coleman said just past midnight Tuesday morning, shots were fired at a mobile home with three people living in the mobile home at the time.

Coleman said no one was hit by the bullets.

After questioning neighbors Tuesday afternoon, Coleman said there were no witnesses as to what kind of vehicle the shooter were in. The only thing the Chief was able to learn was that neighbors heard the shooting but no one saw the shooting.

Coleman said if anyone who may have seen the shooting or knows anything about the shooting, should call Abbeville Detective Chris Hardy at 893-2511.
