Shower thrown for bride-elect Clayton
CROWLEY - Caitlin Simone Clayton, bride-elect of Timothy Michael Lafosse, recently enjoyed a bridal shower in her honor on the afternoon of Sunday, July 14.
The “rustic chic”-themed shower was held at the Crowley home of Kara Bergeron, the aunt of the bride-elect.
For the event, the honoree selected a white A-line dress with spaghetti straps and completed the outfit with a blue jean jacket.
Approximately 25 guests were in attendance, and they enjoyed sandwiches, a fruit tray, a vegetable tray and various other finger foods.
They also enjoyed a shower cake decorated with the couple’s initials in navy blue.
In addition to Bergeron, the shower was hosted by Julie Clayton and Michelle Clayton.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Gwen and Joey Foreman and Joseph Clayton, all of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Elaine and Norris Simon and the late Lois Simon, and Billie Clayton and the late Roland Clayton, all of Crowley.
The prospective groom is the son of Julie and Tim Lafosse of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are Pamela Goff of Crowley and Carolyn and Larry Goff of Morrilton, Ark. His paternal grandparents are Patricia and Charles Lafosse of Crowley.
Caitlin and Timothy will be wed on Saturday, Aug. 3, during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at Point-aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.
Reverend Randy Trahan will officiate the evening nuptials.
