Iota track and field standout Baylie Benton, seated, recently signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. Benton helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to an 11th-place finish in the team standings at the LHSAA State Track and Field Championships recently by scoring 16 points. She finished second in the triple jump (36-3) and second in the long jump (17-2). On hand for her signing were, standing from left, coaches Jacob Aguillard, Dylan Navarre and Chris Farlow.

Notre Dame held their 2nd Annual Priests vs. ND Tennis day recently at the Glady Trahan Tennis Centre, a tradition the school hopes to keep going each year. It was a fun and entertaining afternoon with wins and losses on both sides. Participating in this years event included, first row from left, Riley Vidrine, Alex Meche, Ellen Domingue, Mary Claire Thomas, Ava Arceneaux, Father Michael Richard, Father Black Dubrock, Coach DeAnn Goss, Alice-Ann Dorr, Lily Heidtman, Lillian Lapoint and Cjristopher Leleux; second row, Coach John Trahan, Marie Thibodeaux, Caroline Vondenstein, Alli Coignard, Tesie Burleigh, Father Andrew Schumacher, Father Brent Smith, Father Donald Bernard, Jeffey Trahan, Ryan Goss, Gabe Cramer and Zack Hebert.
