Gents cruise past Bulldogs in Acadia Parish Jamboree

CHURCH POINT – The Iota Bulldogs may have landed the first blow, but it was the Crowley Gents who delivered the haymaker in the two teams’ 2014 Acadia Parish Jamboree game Thursday.

CHURCH POINT - In the second game Thursday evening during the 2014 Acadia Parish Jambore, intra-parish rivals Rayne High and Church Point clashed for what was sure to be a battle of the defenses -- and fans got exactly that as the Wolves edged the Bears, 13-6.

LAFAYETTE – St. Thomas More scored on its first offensive play and passed for 158 yards on the way to a 14-0 win over Notre Dame in the Kiwanis Jamboree Thursday night on the turf at Teurlings.
