Midland cruises past ESA

MIDLAND – The ESA Falcons went toe-to-toe with the Midland Rebels in the first four minutes Monday and even led twice in the District 7-B contest.

A different kind of assist from Hains

MIDLAND - Three years after donning a Midland High basketball uniform for the last time, Andrew Hains picked up another assist last week.

Iota's Armand signs with Jones County

Iota’s McKenzie Armand signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for Jones Community College in Ellisville, Mississippi beginning in the fall. On hand for the signing were, seated from left, Albert Armand (father), McKenzie Armand, Kristy Armand (mother); standing, Iota Principal Cindy Abshire, Amelie Armand (sister), Iota coaches Leah Andrus and Louise Johnson and school board member Milton Simar.

IOTA –Growing up, McKenzie Armand’s first love was baseball.
