Subway’s Jared congratulates Stelly as Get Fit Challenge grand winner

Jared, a featured spokesman for the chain of Subway® restaurants, came to Cajun Fitness in Rayne Wednesday morning to congratulate Carroll Stelly, the grand prize winner in the Subway Get Fit Challenge held in conjunction with Cajun Fitness.

The Get Fit Challenge, presented by SUBWAY® restaurants is an effort to motivate participants to create and maintain healthy living goals.

The Get Fit Challenge spanned 13 weeks with Carroll Stelly selected as the grand prize winner, winning $5,000 in fitness equipment.

Stelly decided to install the equipment in the Rayne Police Department, where it could be used by all members of the department.

The fitness challenge was jointly sponsored by Jason Smith of Cajun Fitness, KLFY-TV10, Bell’s Sporting Goods and Subway® Restaurants. On hand to greet Jared Fogle, the Subway spokesman, were Bethany Laukhuff of KLFY-TV, Ken Sielbold of Bell’s and Jason Smith and the staff of Cajun Fitness.

Joining grand prize winner Stelly was his wife, Diane.

While here, Jared Fogle participated in a promotional video for the 2011 Subway Get Fit Challenge to start in January.
