Suire and White united in beach ceremony
D. White House in Kaplan will be the location of the sunset beach theme wedding on June 20, 2008.
The 6:00 p.m. wedding uniting Tonya D. White and Troy A. Suire was officiated by Bro. Tracy King.
Tonya is the daughter of Alexis M. Landry of Abbeville. Her step-father is Lloyd J. Landry Jr. of Abbeville. She was escorted down the aisle by Tekoa Schexnider, the bride’s oldest son.
Troy is the son of Silvana Mire of Houma and Albert Suire Sr. of Kaplan.
The bride walked down the aisle in a white strapless onyx night dress that draped to the floor. As accents to the dress, she wore a two-foot tiered rolled edge veil with trim matching her dress. The bride’s bouquet was made of dusty mauve lillies accented with sprigs of berries and burgundy lace filler flowers tied together with an irridesant silver bow.
Michele Schexnaider, friend of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Gwen Abshre, friend of the bride; Ronica Suire, sister in law of the groom and Ratisha Broussard, friend of the bride and groom, served as bridesmaids. They wore a dusty mauve button down shirt that was draped on top of a black blouse and black capri pants. Their bouquets were made of miniture burgandy lillies with green background foliage and silver ribbons.
Lindsey Suire, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. The ring bearers were Jonah and Noah White, sons of the bride.
Chosen as Best Man was Albert “Tee” Suire, Jr., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Mike Suire, brother of the groom, Brent Suire, brother of the groom, and Craig Broussard, friend of the bride and groom. Sons of the bride, Sage and Canaan Schexnider, served as Jr. Groomsmen.
Damon Schexnaider, friend of the bride, was the evenings usher.
The bride’s mother, Alexis Landry, wore a black button down shirt with accents of mauve and black capri pants. Her corsage was made up of miniture burgandy lillies with burgandy lace filler flowers.
The groom’s mother, Silvana Mire, wore a white eyelet shirt with black capri pants. Her corsage was miniture burgandy lillies with burgandy lace filler flowers.
A. J. Abshire played a guitar solo for the ceremony while the rest of the music for the reception was provided by Wesley LeMaire.
Following the wedding, the reception was held at D. White House. Their honeymoon was spent in Pensacola Beach, Florida. Upon their return, the couple will reside in Cow Island.
