Teens missing from Florida from February located in Crowley

Two Florida teens reported missing since Feb. 15 were located in Crowley earlier this week.

According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon, on Monday the Attorney General’s Office forwarded information concerning the two runaways and the possibility of them being in the Crowley area.

Following a brief investigation, the two juveniles were located and found to be living at a residence in the 300 block of South Avenue M, Crowley.

Melancon stated that Investigators immediately took the pair into custody without incident.

The juveniles were transported to the Acadia Parish Jail where they were held pending for the arrival of family.
