TEN GRADUATE FROM LA. TECH COLLEGE, MORGAN SMITH CAMPUS
Ten new Certified Nurse Assistants (C.N.A.) were graduated February 12th after each completed a 245 hour program offered by the Louisiana Technical College, Morgan Smith campus in Jennings. The program course work breaks down into 165 hours of theory, classroom and medical terminology followed by 80 hours of clinical work. Morgan Smith campus instructors were Addie Byrd, RN and Ben Hardy. The Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home was host for the clinical portion of the course-work under Rebecca Doucet, RN . Graduating were, seated, from left, Mary Person, Heather Gary, Teisha Rogers and Tamika Hebert, and back row, Blair Cheek, Kacey Watkins, Shelly Zaunbrecher, Jordan Breaux, Pam Stanza and Alexis Dartez. Distinguished graduates were Blair Cheek and Heather Gary. Acknowledging their achievement in excellence, Cheek and Gary were awarded $25 gift certificates courtesy Parker’s Department Store.
