Theriot, Broussard to exchange vows in June
CANCUN, Mexico - Brielle Geneé Theriot and Eric John Broussard, both of Carencro, have announced their engagement and commitment to be wed on Thursday, June 13.
The couple will be joined in holy matrimony during an early evening ceremony officiated by Reverend Hubert Reiner at the Moon Palace Resort’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Chapel in Cancun, Mexico.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Nanette and Michael Jody Theriot of St. Martinville. Her maternal grandparents are Linton Hulin of St. Martinville and the late Arlene Hulin. Her paternal grandparents are Michael Allen Theriot of St. Martinville and the late Rose Theriot.
Brielle is a graduate of St. Martinville Senior High and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s College of Education. She is presently employed as a fourth grade teacher with the St. Landry Parish School Board.
The prospective groom is the son of Cecelia B. and Garrick Chambers and the late David L. Broussard, all of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are the late Arick and Mae Simon, and Bobbie and Noble Chambers. His paternal grandparents are Addie S. Broussard and the late LeRoy L. Broussard.
Eric graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish before attending South Louisiana Community College, where he obtained an associate of science degree. He is currently employed by Blue Fin Services in Broussard.
Following their marriage, the couple will reside in Carencro.
