Thomas (Quet) Thibodeaux
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Francis Fontenot officiating, for Thomas (Quet) Thibodeaux, 89, of Duson, who died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at his home.
Burial was in the St. Theresa Cemetery in Duson.
Visitation was observed Friday from 10 a.m . until time of service on Saturday.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Nedia Thibodeaux; four daughters and their husbands, Evelyn and Joseph Credeur, Earline and Michael Domingue, Bernella Albrado and Debra Wilson; two brothers, Lennis and Odesse Thibodeaux, all of Duson; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wade Credeur, Scott Domingue, Daman and Ricky Albrado, ray and Jason Wilson.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Velma Hebert; his parents, Alice Newman and Anatole Thibodeaux; two brothers, Sylvan and Odal Thibodeaux; one sister, Amy Thibodeaux; and a son-in-law, Sherman Albrado.
He retired from the parish after for 11 years. He was a farmer all his life in the Duson community.
The family offered a special thanks to Journey Hospice of Lafayette, for all the help and special care that was given to their father.
