Our beloved Mildred Davis Thompson was called home Monday, January 19, 2009 at the St. Helena Parish Hospital, Greensburg. She was 87, a lifelong native and resident of St. Helena Parish.

Religious services were held at Hillsdale Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Jim McGriff followed by interment in Hillsdale Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by two brothers, Huey Davis and his wife, Doris, Amite and Wilson Davis and his wife, Mary, Amite; numerous nieces, nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Thompson; her parents, George and Caroline Reeves Davis; a sister, Lillie Davis Newell.
