Three Ten Club, Spring Fling
Memebers and guests of the Three Ten club visited the Opelousas Museum and Interpretive Center on Tuesday, March 18. The primary focus of the event was to view the Vivian Alexander Faberge style Egg Collection, which is the private collection of Todd Cutrer. It is the largest Vivian Alexander collection worldwide. Each piece shines with its own unique design of sparkling gemstones, colorful enamels, and intricate guilloche, and are handmade by Vivian Alexander’s talented artisans. Members also enjoyed the art work of local artist and photographer, Joseph W. Lewis, as well as the Geraldine Smith Welch Doll Collection, and various other exhibits on display. The day was completed with lunch at Prejean’s Restaurant in Lafayette. Hostesses for the Spring Fling were Bobbie Chambers, Mary Freeland, and Florette Bergeron.
