Three-Ten kicks off new year
CROWLEY - The Three-Ten Club’s first meeting of the new club year was held on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the home of club member Sissy Gall.
Sandy Melancon, president, began by welcoming two new members, Isabella delaHoussaye and Lisa McNeely, to the organization.
Melancon then presented an introduction to the Three-Ten Club’s theme for the year, “Events, Discoveries, and Technologies in Our Changing World.”
Club yearbooks were distributed to the members, and the various programs for the coming year were discussed. Members agreed that the theme for the year was challenging and would be very interesting.
Following committee reports and the close of the business portion of the meeting, the Three-Ten members enjoyed fellowship and refreshments.
Assisting Gall with hostess duties were Betty Faulk and Louise Morrow.

Associate members in attendance were Sarah Bercier, Barbara Geesey, Barbara Scanlan, M’Elise Trahan and Elaine Wright.
