Tool and Pantry couples shower held for Amy Pastor and Brad Bergeron

CROWLEY - An afternoon tool and pantry shower was held recently for Amy Catherine Pastor of Crowley and Brad Joseph Bergeron of Scott.
The Hawaiian Luau was held at the Crowley home of Dr. and Mrs. Craig Brammer. A margaritaville theme was represented with floral arrangements, a variety of refreshments and Hawaiian leis which were placed throughout the home as well as around the pool area.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Mary Alice Habetz Pastor of Crowley. She is maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Andrew Habetz Sr., formerly of Rayne. Amy is the paternal granddaughter of Helen Sonnier Pastor and the late Lora “Po- Boy” Pastor Sr.
The prospective groom is the son of Dorothy Landry Bergeron of Pineville and the late Alvin Anthony Bergeron. He is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Landry, formerly of New Orleans. Brad’s paternal grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Oras Bergeron, formerly of Leonville.
In addition to the Brammers, hostesses for the event were Benji and Karen Arledge, Robert and Pearl Reynolds, Brandon and Ianeta Guidry, Ben and Tegan Graham, Brandi Martin, Chuck and Susan Guidry, Neena Graham, Guy and Kay Cuccio and Jeff and Susan Brammer Istre.
Amy wore a navy sundress accented with royal blue and kelly green polka dots and matching accents. She was presented with a Hawaiian floral lei for the occasion.
The mother of the bride-to-be, Mary Alice Habetz Pastor, was attired in a floral blouse of teal and lime green with matching teal capris.
Dorothy, the mother of the prospective groom, wore a lavender shell overlayed with a floral print blouse of white and lavender colors adorned with white capris.
Special guest, Helen Sonnier Pastor and 80 guests enjoyed chips, numerous dips, cupcakes and brownies, strawberry daiquiris and margaritas along with “the Famous Dr. Brammer Burgers.” Amy and Brad’s guests traveled from Rayne, Scott, Lafayette, Erath, Baton Rouge, Breaux Bridge and New Orleans.
The couple has set their wedding date for June 9, 2012 in an afternoon ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Crowley. Father Lamar Partin will officiate.
