ULL Baseball: Sun Belt Tournament tickets now on sale
LAFAYETTE – Tickets to the 2011 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament being held at Warhawk Field in Monroe are now on sale through the UL Monroe Ticket Office.
The eight-team tournament is scheduled for Wednesday-Sunday, May 25-29 and features a new format. A new round-robin format, which is similar in scope to the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament, guarantees each team in the tournament three games and a day off prior to Championship Sunday.
Once the tournament seeds are determined, fans will know the exact date and time of their school’s games. Games will be held at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
Fans will have three ticket options:
Tournament Booklet (Reserved seats to all 13 games)
Until March 31 -- $60
April 1 to May 29 -- $75
Flex Pack (6 Any-Game General Admission Tickets) – $50
Single Game Tickets – $15 reserved, $10 general admission
Warhawk Field will not be cleared following each game during pool play. However, fans that leave Warhawk Field for any reason will be required to purchase another ticket to re-enter Warhawk Field. There will be no pass outs.

ABOUT THE SUN BELT BASEBALL TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The eight teams will be divided into two four-team pools. Pool A will comprise of tournament seeds No. 1, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 8, while Pool B will comprise of tournament seeds No. 2, No. 3, No. 6 and No. 7.
The team with the best record in tournament games in each pool will advance to the Championship game on Sunday. However, if more than one team is tied at the completion of round-robin play in the brackets, then the following tie-breaking procedures will be used:
TWO TEAMS TIED
The team that won the head-to-head competition in championship games will advance.
THREE TEAMS TIED
The team with the highest seed in the respective bracket will advance.
(ULM will play the 7 p.m. game for all three of its pool play contests)
