Venable, Daigle plan February 28 wedding ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Todd Venable of Crowley announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter,

Mckenzie Marie, to Brandt Adam Daigle, both of Lafayette. The couple will unite in the sacrament of holy matrimony at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Potier and the late R.J. Potier of Crowley and Mrs. Agnes Venable and the late Wesley Venable of Church Point.

Mckenzie is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed through Merit Energy as a landman in Shreveport.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Daigle of Rayne. He is the grandson of Mr. Edwin Privat of Lafayette and Mrs. Gail Witherwax of Scott.

Brandt is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is currently employed as a landman with Maloney Land Services in Shreveport.

After the wedding the couple plans to reside in Lafayette.
