Ville Platte Police report 20 arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 20 arrests between March 19, and April 4.

Arrested were the following:

•Sheba Williams, 24, 1141 Dove Crossing, Ville Platte, was charged March 31, with driving under suspension and no child restraints by Officer Irving Bourque. Williams was released on a $500 bond.

•Randy Jack, 34, 706 E. Beauregard, Ville Platte, was charged April 1, with remaining after being forbidden by Officer Jamie Vidrine. Jack was released on a $200 bond.

•Edwin Griffith, 47, 1026 W. Peach St., Ville Platte, was charged March 31, with curfew violation by Officer Damien Bellard. Griffith was released on a $200 bond.

•Jahorae Johnson, 22, 231 Demoruelle St., Ville Platte, was charged March 31, with simple battery by Sgt. Joseph Fontenot. Johnson was released on a $500 bond.

•Michael Bushnell, 40, 108 W. Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged April 1, with domestic abuse by Officer Jamie Vidrine. Bushnell was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Allen Thomas, 21, 311 W. Desota, Ville Platte, was charged March 19, with DWI, misrepresentation during booking by Officer Damien Bellard. Thomas was released on a $2,250 bond.

•Alexis Easter, 17, 1213 MLK Drive, Ville Platte, was charged April 2, with aggravated assault (two counts) by Officers Allen James and Damien Bellard. Bond was set at $5,000.

•Dewayne West, 36, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was charged March 31, with curfew violation and misrepresentation during booking by Officer Damien Bellard. West was released on a $400 bond.

•Carlton Ardoin, 58, 223 S. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was charged March 31, with simple drunkenness by Officer Damien Bellard. Ardoin was released on a $200 bond.

•Renaldo Gallow, 28, 606 E. Wilson, was charged April 1, with simple battery by Officer Damien Bellard. Gallow was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Jessie Fontenot, 39, 407 SW Railroad Ave., Ville Platte, was charged April 1, with DWI (second offense) and careless operation by Officer Damien Bellard. Fontenot was released on a $750 bond.

•Jonas Rideau, 36, 1381 Fruge St., Ville Platte, was charged April 4, with no driver’s license, improper parking and simple possession of marijuana by Officer Tyler Tate. Rideau was released on a $2,700 bond.
