Waffle House robbed at gunpoint

At approximately 1 a.m. Thursday morning three armed men robbed the Waffle House off of I-10 in north Crowley making off with a small amount of cash before escaping to a wooded area north of the restaurant.

“We are currently investigating the case and looking for any physical evidence that may have been left behind,” said Crowley Chief of Police K.P. Gibson.

The men are described as black males who were wearing hoodies with bandanas covering their faces. According to an anonymous source they robbed the restaurant of $300 before fleeing. Nobody was injured during the robbery, however, some of the employees were shaken up after the incident.

“Some of us are worried about returning to work,” said the source.
