Wilfred Joseph Trahan
CROWLEY – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons point for Wilfred Joseph Trahan, 82, who died January 13, 2012 in Crowley.
Fr. Clint Trahan will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Sunday from noon until 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be held in Abshire Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bell Trahan, four daughters, Debbie Trumps and her husband Michael of Egan, Brenda Sonnier and her husband Wilson of Kaplan, Nora Cormier and her husband Samuel of Crowley and Lisa Schelper and her husband George of Texas; two sons, Allen Trahan and his wife Becky of Crowley, and Kenneth Trahan and his wife Monica of Crowley; one brother, Lawrence Trahan of Crowley; 13 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by his parents, Claudies and Alita Richard Trahan.
