Witchy Way to be held on October 30

CROWLEY – Rita Johnson, Main Street manager announced that the City of Crowley Witchy Way Down Main Street will be held Thursday, October 30 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., followed by regular trick-or-treat, which will last from 5 to 7 p.m. Johnson would also like to remind motorists to use extra care while driving that night.

“This will be Main Street’s 9th annual Witchy Way, and even though we are under construction, all of our businesses are open and we look forward to seeing you there,” informed Johnson.

Trick or treating is for children ages 0 to 13 years of age, dressed in costume and accompanied by an adult.

“Witchy Way will again include a costume contest for all participating businesses, and if you have not notified the Main Street Office that you will be participating, please do so as soon as possible,” Johnson added.

Those participating in Witchy Way are Acadia Parish Clerk of Court, Crowley Fire Department, Landry, Landry & Landry, Kenneth Privat’s office, Acadia Parish 911 Office, Ruddock’s Bakery, Edwards, Stefanski and Zaunbrecher, Stan Gall’s, Broussard, Poché, Lewis and Breaux, Harrington’s Law Office, City Hall, Modern Music, Tower Loan, Hair Tanning and Beyond, Bier’s Pharmacy, Leleux’s Appliance, Metlife/International Rice Festival Office, LA Representative Jack Montoucet’s offices, KSIG Radio Station, Main Street office, Teacher’s Pet, the Gallery, Home Bank, LaSpiaggia, Southern Tire, First National Bank, Shop Rite Office.

A new addition is the Main Street Spookhouse. “Now don’t forge to go down North Avenue G to the Bank of Commerce and Trust,” said Johnson. “Don’t forget to go down North Avenue G to the Bank of Commerce and Trust. These are all the businesses that informed Main Street they will participate in Witchy Way, but keep your eyes open as there may be other businesses participating also,” said Johnson.

The streets will be closed off to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable Witchy Way. Those participating may park near Wells Fargo and the Enterprise Center.
