Woodlawn slates Fall Festival

Woodlawn Baptist Church will host its 2nd Annual Family Fall Festival from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 2, on the campus of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Supper will be provided for all who attend.

The festival will bring back a wide selection of carnival-style games, food and prizes. Special attractions will include an inflatable obstacle course, mini golf, a 16-foot slide, and the popular Needle in a Haystack game.

Everything is offered free of charge to the public, regardless of the church they attend.

“There’s no charge to get in and we’re not charging for any of the activities,” a spokesman said. “This is something we’re doing for the whole community and we want everyone to attend.” The purpose of the Family Fall Festival is to provide a fun, safe environment in which families may spend time together and with friends.

“It is the desire of Woodlawn Baptist Church that everyone in our community be given the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ,” a spokesman said. “We want to build relationships with, reach out to and connect with our community and the Family Fall Festival is just one way to do that.”
