Zaunbrecher, Barousse announce engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Christopher L. Zaunbrecher, of Rayne are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Cicely Renee Zaunbrecher, of Houston to Homer Edward Barousse, III of New Orleans.
Cicely is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clovis Boudreaux and Mrs. Marian Zaunbrecher and the late Reginald Zaunbrecher, all of Rayne.
She is a 1991 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, and received her bachelor of arts degree in business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as a flight attendant with Continental Airlines in Houston.
Parents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. Homer Edward Barousse, Jr. of Crowley. His grandparents are Mr. Donald Baker of Shreveport and the late Mrs. Donald Baker and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Edward Barousse, Sr.
He is a 1991 graduate of the Episcopal School of Acadiana, cum laude graduate with honors of Millsaps College in Jackson, attained his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in Richmond, Virginia and has been admitted to the Virginia, Maryland and Louisiana bar. He practices law with the firm of Plauche Maselli and Parkerson, LLP in New Orleans.
The couple will exchange vows of marriage during a 6:30 p.m. nuptial Mass on Friday, May 7 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Rayne, followed by a reception at the City Club at River Ranch in Lafayette.
Following their marriage, the couple will reside in New Orleans.
