School Board OKs budget at routine July meeting

The Acadia Parish School Board adopted a $108 million operating budget for the coming year when they met in regular July session.

The SLCC Acadian Campus students in the welding department show Acadia Parish Students a few techniques and tips on how to perfect their skills as future welders. The Acadia Parish School System recently held its first JumpStart Summer Program in Welding and Carpentry in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Education.
