Mire presents ‘Library 101’ lesson to Attakapas Study Club

Les Dames learn Crowley’s event schedule

The first meeting of the new club year for Les Dames Acadienne was held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the conference room of Crowley City Hall.

‘Project Pink Day’ proclaimed, pageants scheduled, raffle set

“PROJECT PINK DAY” PROCLAIMED - Mayor Roland Boudreaux was joined at City Hall Monday morning by a number of Preceptor Alpha Chi Chapter members and Project Pink royalty to declare Saturday, Oct, 4, as “Project Pink Day” in the city of Rayne. Joining the mayor were Chairman Theresa Prather, seated left, Pageant Chairman Marlene Habetz, seated right; standing, PAC member Amy Bergeron, Project Pink Ambassador Janet Boudreaux, Little Project Pink Ella Arabie and her grandmother Mary Reynolds.
