“Blue Temple with Village,” acrylic on canvas
Faulk exhibit hangs at The Gallery
The Gallery in Crowley is currently featuring the work of local artist Brandon Faulk.
Faulk has been a fixture in the local art scene for a number of years now and is known for his fantastical, otherworldy subject matter.
His current exhibit includes a large number of works in a variety of media – acrylics, watercolors, canvas, wood and tapestry.
Faulk credits a childhood spent in the country exploring nature as the initial inspiration for him to create art.
That inspiration has not changed.
“Today the inspiration to do art work is the same,” says Faulk.
“The beauty of nature in this wondrous world, and the joy of creating something to share with everyone. To give them a message, or to just show them something they’ve never seen before.”
Faulk’s art will hang at The Gallery throughout the month of November.
The exhibit is free and open to the public, and The Gallery, located at 411 N. Parkerson Ave., is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information call (337) 514-5114.
