Katherine M. “Kathy” Guidry
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Katherine M. “Kathy” Guidry, 80, who passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at 7:36 a.m. at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley.
Deacon Dennis Lacroix, from St. Joseph Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services.
Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church old Cemetery in Rayne at a later date.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. until time of services, all in the funeral home chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Wold Jr. of Lake Charles and Troy and wife, Stacie Guidry of Cypres, Texas; one sister, Betty Morgan Thevis of Rayne; one brother, Weldon Joseph Morgan of Port Barre; five grandchildren, Bryan Wold, Santana Wold, Bailey Rosas, Madison Guidry and Peyton Guidry; and three great-grandchildren.
Ms. Guidry was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Amanda Dupont Morgan; one son, Scott Anthony Guidry; one sister, Melba Morgan Mizell; three brothers, Milton “Sonny” Morgan, Edmund Leroy Morgan, and James “Jimmy” Morgan.
Katherine’s family would like to thank the staff of Southwind Healthcare and Rehabilitation for the loving care of Katherine Guidry.
